Summary
The scarcity of technology in developing countries is a reality, while resources such as, plastic caps or aluminum cans are relatively easy to obtain anywhere in the world.
Moreover, these materials are accumulating both in the oceans and in landfills and finding a solution to contain this phenomenon is of the outmost importance. This project aims to reincorporate such materials, normally treated as waste, to the production cycle. With the help of a solar oven, manufactured with recycled materials, plastic can be molded and used to create simple pieces, thus contributing to its reuse as part of sustainable development.
